The Beach in Cancun Mexico

And finally the beach. Cancun itself is an island shaped like a big number "7". Along the top north coast you will find very fine sand and not as many waves. Along the east coast the waves are significantly bigger (enough to body surf in) and the beach runs south to the Punta Nizuc Reef.

The Beach

We'll be back for sure, though we'll check out Cozumel and Playa del Carmen next time. Quieter and more like the "real Mexico" we're told.
