RECENT DIGITAL
PHOTOS
Digital photos let you immediately see your
work, share them quickly with your friends, and can produce some pretty
decent prints when compared to traditional photography. Most of the
digital photos you see here will have been taken by one of the Nikon
Coolpix series.

We zipped down for the Photoshop World conference and were struck by the beauty of San Francisco.
Photos taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700.

Mexico 2002
This time we focused on Playa Del
Carmen and Cozumel. Rapidly growing area, but it hasn't lost its
old world charm.

Australia 2001
Beaches, beaches and more beaches. And that is only the East Coast.
Australia takes more than three

ARCHIVED PHOTOS
Before there were digital cameras, there
was slide photography. It took me a while to get over the difference
in colour, saturation and level of detail that the two mediums give,
but here are some older photos for comparison.
Cozumel
& Cancun 1998
Our second trip to Mexico's beautiful
resorts.
Bear
Mountain Challenge
(Fall 1997)
Local mountain bike riders met at Bear Mountain in Mission, B.C. for
two days of races.
Summer
'97 (Fall 1997)
Summer in B.C. is a brief look
back at the summer that was.
Chile
(March 1992)
These pictures were taken in 1992
just when the first elections were held. I spent four months there
travelling from top to bottom and was struck by the incredible beauty
and soul of the country and people.
Cancun
(Feb. 1997)
A much shorter trip in Feb.
1997, and definiteyl more touristy. The colours were spectacular--
I've never seen such blue water before.
B.C.
in Fall'96 (Oct. 1996)
B.C. is always a good place for photography. And I live here. These
aspen trees were lit
up just as the sun went down near Merit last fall. Have a look at
some other "Fall96" shots. |
