Of course you could "borrow" images from other websites, but really what you want to do is find new, copyright free material. Better yet, if you can find free sources, your ahead of the game. If you haven't checked out the latest offerings from both Macromedia and
Adobe, hurry on over and pick up the free evaluation packages. Both Macromedia's
"Fireworks" and Adobe's "Image
Ready" have superior image compression for both .JPG and .GIF, vector/bitmap
capability (no more need to retype text every time you make a change!),
and a whole host of other image treatment tools. Both packages know that
you usually use two or three pieces of software to prepare you web images
and offer you one that should do it all. They're free for the moment,
so try them out. |
